Ingredients:
2 Pound(s) peeled, cut into small chunks Parsnips, raw
1 Cup(s) Chicken Stock

Optional Ingredients:
1/4 Teaspoon(s) nutmeg Add to shopping list
1/4 Teaspoon(s) cinnamon Add to shopping list

Directions:
In a deep pan, combine parsnips with chicken broth, and 1.5 cups of water

Cover, simmer until tender (maybe 15 minutes)

drain off broth and reserve it to the side

smash parsnips with fork or potato masher

add broth or cream until desired consistency is reached

add salt, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon to taste.
